Welcome
Welcome to Stockach
Stockach
The town of Stockach has around 17,000 inhabitants and is part of the Konstanz district. Half of the inhabitants live in the centre of Stockach itself while the other half live in the other ten districts: Espasingen, Hindelwangen, Hoppetenzell, Winterspüren, Mahlspüren im Hegau, Mahlspüren im Tal, Raithaslach, Seelfingen, Wahlwies and Zizenhausen.
The district area encompasses 69.3 square kilometres. The town is also the seat of an association of administrations with the municipalities of Bodman-Ludwigshafen, Eigeltingen, Hohenfels, Mühlingen and Orsingen-Nenzingen, serving a total of 30,000 inhabitants and their schools and administrative centres.
A twinning agreement was established with the French town La Roche-sur-Foron, situated in the Haute-Savoie department, in 1972.
For over 20 years, Stockach has enjoyed friendly relations and a cooperative exchange between the town councils in Wermsdorf in Saxony.
